Prologue :

𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖

We were in a classroom, sitting on two benches. Ruhi and Nitvik shared one bench, while Shiv and I sat on the other, sitting backwards to face them, leaning on their desk.

"...And then you'll come out of the class, with his laptop. Rest, I'll see." Nitvik finished explaining to us about his plan.

"Bullshit!" Shiv growled as he rose from the bench, frustration written all over his face, pacing halfway across the classroom before returning to the same spot. "How do you even know this will work?"

"I just know." Nitvik said flatly.

Shiv settled down on the seat again, "Oh! So you're just over-confident about it."

"It's called intuition and confidence." Nitvik corrected.

Shiv traced his finger on the same paper Nitvik had explained his plan on.

"How do you know you'll hack all the devices - that have her video - with his laptop?" He asked.

"It's computer science." Nitvik answered.

"Okay. How do you know he'll follow her?" Shiv asked again.

"It's psychology." Nitvik answered again.

"And how do you know he'll fall?"

"It's physics."

Shiv's head fell down on the desk, he was clearly so done with Nitvik.

"Ugh, I hate this Nerdy." He murmured to himself.

I sighed, my attention fixing on Nitvik as I leaned in.

"Can we have some changes in the plan? Because I really want to chop the banana." I said.

Even Nitvik didn't know how to react to that statement, Shiv just sat with his head in his palm. Nitvik opened his mouth, almost ready to speak..

"Why do you want to chop a banana?" Ruhi's soft voice reached our ears.

She was sitting across from me, so I faced her, this time I was the one who didn't know how to react.

"You really didn't get it?" I asked.

She blinked her innocent eyes at me, completely out of trace.

"Get what?"

I shot a quick glance at Nitvik, he seemed like he wanted to run the hell away, while Shiv's face had turned red.

"Is she really that innocent?" I asked Nitvik.

Ruhi shot him a puzzled look as she tried to understand what was going on. Nitvik caught it out of the corner of his eye and hesitated.

The question he was meant to answer sat uncomfortably on his tongue, too awkward to voice with her watching. He blinked twice a little too fast, forcing an air of ease. In the end he simply lifted his shoulders in a casual shrug.

My eyes fell on Ruhi again, I fixed myself on the seat making sure she could hear me properly.

"Okay so, I wasn't talking about any random banana. I was talking about... his banana. Get it now?"

She tilted her head with a small squeeze of her eyes, "The banana he would be eating?"

"No, no, no!"

For a second, I hid my face with my hands, unable to handle the situation. I slid my hands down before facing her again, ready to explain.

"He's not eating that banana, nobody is eating that disgusting, rotten banana. It's just.." I literally wanted to scratch my hair at that moment, "Argh, I hate talking to innocent people!" I whispered frustratedly, then pointing to Nitvik, "She's your just-friend, just tell her what it means!"

"Woah!" He leaned backwards on the desk, his hands already up in surrender. "We don't talk about that stuff."

"Seriously? You're so boring." I told him.

"It's not boring. I respect her." He snapped back.

"Respect aside, just share some of your knowledge with her." I argued.

"No, it's great." Shiv spoke up suddenly, drawing our attention. "Don't you dare to ruin her innocence else I'll break your nose with a single punch." He said to Nitvik.

Nitvik shot him an offended look, finally losing his patience, "Nobody is talking to you, why don't you just shut that mouth of yours."

"Okay, shut up!" I almost screamed to silence them, my eyes finding Ruhi again. "I'm talking about his dick!" I finally said.
